Where has summer gone? Autumn winds are sweeping in and the cold is pushing the heat away. It’s time for jumpers, dark evenings by the fire and warming soups.
Shopping list; baby yarn, knitting magazine, tea, fruit and hamster food. Orange juice, wine and chocolate. Can I also have some happy pills and a time skip into next year?
Dear Granny Agnes,
I hope you are well. London is another short stop in this whirl wind adventure. It’s very busy here, loud and none stop. We visited museums and admired the ancient statues and huge paintings. We went to see the Madam Butterfly at the theatre which I most enjoyed. St Paul’s rounded things off- that place is huge and yet so quiet.
We did a little shopping and I was able to pick up a few things. Next we are going to Cornwall and the coast. I’m looking forward to that as it will be a nice break from all these cities we have visited.
I’m so glad I decided to spend my summer on this ‘grand tour’ as you suggested I need to see the world.
Summer is here but holidays are cancelled. There’s no trips to the beach or the zoo, instead we must stay inside and fill summer’s long days entertaining ourselves.
No school, kids stuck at home, how do teachers cope? Been driven mad, cabin fever made me into a monkey yesterday. I know all the words to Frozen 2, maybe I could audition for the next one?
Billet-doux – a love letter.
Inside this shoe box are the love letters written by your great-grandparents who had to be secretly together due to their racial differences. If it wasn’t for their defiantance of laws and belief in love, you wouldn’t be here right now.

Holiday needed. Tired of cold weather, book somewhere hot and sunny. Cocktails on a beach with palm trees for shade.
Tear the tab, remove the plastic, welcome to your new stack of sticky notes! Suitable for every purpose. Enjoy!
Finally, decided we need all new Christmas decorations. I’m taking the lot to the dump then going shopping for new ones.
