Piercing #TwitteringTales

It was fun to mess around in the abandoned factory. There were holes to jump, beams to climb and ‘treasures’ to be found. They were playing there when the Earth began to shake, white beams pierced down from the sky and everyone started disappearing.

54 #TwitteringTales

The number kept appearing on his computer screen. He didn’t have a clue what was going on but his anger was slowly being replaced by fear.

There was nothing wrong with the computer. He had built the thing himself, ran regular checks and could solve any problems.

No matter what he was doing, the screen would flicker, turn black then the number 54 would fill the screen before the computer shut down.

It was impossible, no one knew and yet someone clear did. It couldn’t be a coincidence anymore…

His secret was out, he was the city’s serial cat killer.

Unstuck #TwitteringTales

It had taken ages to get the positive canvas wall complete in my studio. Now. every time I came in one or more of the canvas would be on the floor. I blamed it on the sticky strips but something more was going on, somebody that wasn’t keen on happy messages.

The lab had been built in an old observatory, in the middle of nowhere which was perfect for the holding and research of ghosts.

The only problem was so far they had been unsuccessful in actually capturing and keeping the spirits!

The train station was busy and steam filled the air. The tall man glanced back as the porter struggled with the large trunk.

‘What have you got in here!’ the porter cried.

The Sleeping Dragon #TwitteringTales

‘We have to be quiet in the woods,’ Mama said.

‘Why?’ her young daughter asked.

‘Because, last night a blue dragon arrived here!’

The girl’s eyes grew wide and she clutched to her mama’s skirts.

‘He’s sleeping, so if we don’t disturb him, everything will be fine.’

Taxi! #TwitteringTales

Everyone thought the job was easy; drive people from A to B but Dec knew there was more to it. With twelve years under his belt, he found the waiting boring, nervous still collecting customers and traffic stressful.

That’s why he’d decided to give up and move to the coast to work on a boat.

The trees moved violently as if stuck by a giant when the chopper flew close to them. The noise of the whirling blades blocked out all of sound but then the emergency bleeping went off.

People watched in horror as the helicopter failed to land and crashed into the forest.

Britney looked around the beach. It seemed everyone in the world was here and the noise¬†was so loud Britney couldn’t hear the sea! Leaving her husband sleeping and the children learning to surfboard, she found an empty cafe on the promenaded.

Finally some quietness! she thought.
