September, Post It Note story

Where has summer gone? Autumn winds are sweeping in and the cold is pushing the heat away. It’s time for jumpers, dark evenings by the fire and warming soups.

Post It Note Short

Shopping list; baby yarn, knitting magazine, tea, fruit and hamster food. Orange juice, wine and chocolate. Can I also have some happy pills and a time skip into next year?

Lake

Water stretched for miles and the sun warmed the surface to a nice feeling temperature. It was the perfect day for a paddle and to try and claim back some of the summer time.

Book Tower

My to read pile had been tall before but being in isolation had made the tower seem never ending which was just how I wanted it to be!

Guinea pigs

My husband was so unobserved and busy all the time that it took him two years to realise I had gone behind his back and brought our daughters some guinea pigs.

Post It Note Short

No school, kids stuck at home, how do teachers cope? Been driven mad, cabin fever made me into a monkey yesterday. I know all the words to Frozen 2, maybe I could audition for the next one?

Empty Fun

Once the Ferris Wheel had been the height of fun. It had over seen all the laughter of the theme park but now all the rides sat empty and only the wind came to play.

Bus #FridayFictioneers

The boss had booked the bus for the staff Christmas party, however he had forgotten to check how many seats the bus had, so only ten people made it to the party.
